Deleting The Media Center
« on: May 26, 2004, 12:50:00 PM »

I remember reading somewhere that once you delete the XBMX from your box you could expirience like games freezing or slowing up if you were running Evox. I think it said i had to do something to the original MSdash.xbe

Does anyone know what i am talking about. I read it on one of the read me files that the progie came with but i cant seem to find it again..

Yeah, just leave it there.  It's not hurting anything and is an excellent contribution to any Xbox (unless you hate music, videos, and the weather!).   <

How about thinking twice and posting after that?

All the info wanted in this thread has been posted houndreds of times.

Being a newbie is NOT a defense for not reading up befor asking stuff like this.

And if you think you read anything about something someplace but it is not on the official forums or here you will most likly be the victim of another "newbie" posting a theory about something he/she do not understand.

Newbies are essentiel to any scene, we have all been there, but being a newbie is NEVER a defens for being ignorant or give you a pass to post dumb questions as i stated befor.  <
