any 1 know y there is a spot for batteries on the wired guitar?

It's just  to keep the cost down of having to make more than one back piece, one for wired version and then a different one for the new wireless version, so they just use the same one for both. It does nothing for the wired Guitar at all, except maybe show it's on the cheap side a little.
