look for a program called Live Info Beta 2 by Team Assembly (it should be in the dl section of x-s). i can't vouch for it personally, but its a gui interface that lets you load a eeprom and possible retrieve the hdd key from it

Only problem is, unless I'm mistake, LiveInfo runs on an Xbox and the hard drive is no longer in an Xbox. Thanks though.

live info does not run on the xbox (configmagic does). LI is programmed to run on your computer.

still dont have a hard drive to use in my xbox though outside this maxtor 60 gig 5400 rpm non lockable drive... grrr
