Yea, i'm a heat shrink whore (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Better safe then sorry. Send me that composite pinout when you get a chance.

PS- I got the PSU today, might try it out tonight.

Composite is pin 7 (pins are labeled on the underside of the motherboard), and you need to ground Pin 24 to enable Composite TV mode. For the composite, you can use any nearby ground for the shield ground, if you look on the underside of the mobo, many of the pins are connected to the same ground plane, you can use any of those.

Maybe could make a tut for LCD screen install (interms of wiring).

Also, for audio, Pin 15 is Right, and Pin 16 is Left. Again, you can use any ground for the shield ground.

Thanks for that nfo maxx. One question tho, when I plug in the actual component cables(ms ones) will they override the composite signal and start displaying on my hdtv? or will I need some kind of switch?

Also, I got the PSU today. It's a 300W from a intel entry server(very slim). I hooked it up and it seems to work great. Here are some pics(keep in mind this was only for testing) One problem tho, the fan is a jet engine(gonna have to do something about that)

Looks excellent mate.
Very clean and you can tell you have taken your time. ARe you the first person to mod their 360 out of its actual case?
Keep on reeling in the superb work, Sam beerchug.gif

Excellent work!  I like it.

But remember, masking tape /= always equal an insulator.  If it gets damp at all (not necessarily wet from a spill, just slightly damp) your 360 could very well end up impersonating a firecracker.  I know it's just a mockup, but just sayin'.  biggrin.gif

I can't tell you if it's the first, but it's the first on this site for sure. I seen a few PC cases, but never anything from scratch.

Update. Cleaned up the PSU a bit, added a SATA power plug, and internalized the transistor for powering on.

Yeah you will need a switch, otherwise, when both the TV bit and HDTV bits are set, it will enter a third mode, SCART I think... basically it will start doing strange things.
