Compress Dvd

Does XBMC compress dvd's when you copy them to the harddrive?  I was going to use dvd2xbox but many have said that XBMC is better.  Also, does it have the capability to copy dvds and games?  <

There is no program that compresses DVDs on the Xbox.  DivX tutorial (for PC) is in my sig but it is not click and go.

DVD2Xbox is a DVD/Game/Music ripper (it plays nothing)

XBMC is a media player (it rips nothing)
