thats fuckin wicked! - never knew about that!

beerchug.gif

now what would rule is if xbmc acted as a smb server too, and you could then click on those links and stream them to your pc. Real sweet tho.

I have http server turned on, it forwards to .http://10.0.0.13/default.asp(my xbox ip).

and it gives me this:

White scree, with text in times new roman
"
Pragma: no-cache Cache-Control: no-cache Content-type: text/html
"

any ideas?
the html page title comes up as "XMBC Web Control (html)" so I know I have the right address and all that. but the page isn't rendering correctly or something.

This is with the may09 2004 release.

Make sure you have your date/time properly set on your XBOX.  Otherwise you will get the problem you are seeing.

Yeah, it's OK - but not really useful.  I can use it to browse the SMB shares and pause & play, but it crashes a lot.  <

Yeah, it's OK - but not really useful.

If you've got a wireless PDA attached yo your home network you could use it to browse to your XBMC and control it anywhere in the house. Got my Xbox hooked up to my TV and Hi-fi so you can change the track your listening to in the garden outside via the PDA cool.gif

You could always use a wireless laptop too ofcourse.

commio, that's exactly what I did! Queue up any song into the music playlist then select g-force visualiser and as long as you get your guests to only click the Q hyperlink, not the song title then everyone's happy.

Now, if only we could get crossfading and eliminate that gap when the visualisation pauses as the song changes!!  <
