I know in windows I can put a VIDEO_TS folder on one of my hard drives, copy all of the DVD files to it, and then set up WINDVD to think that drive is the playback drive, and it plays just as if it were a real DVD. How hard could this be for an XBOX? Instead I have ben forced to convert to divx or try and stack VOB's but its just not the same quality wise, plus it takes too long. Using Dr. Divx it even sometimes picks up the wrong audio title, so I went to see a movie and it was in French! Very annoying. I would love to just play the DVD files off my XBOX hard drive. |
How hard can it be? Not very. XBMC supports DVD playback off the HDD. You can even load the ifo file and it'll play the vobs correctly.
