Mpg Files Play Horribly.

Okay.I`m using the latest build which is the 30 April 2004 build. The strange thing is. The Media player plays xvids and avi file with out any problem from the hardidsk. Only when i start to play mpeg files like MTV's the starting is jerky like no ones business and then the whole voice sync goes off. Any idea whats going on. It would be great if someone clould tell me:)

I had the same problem (at least it sounds like it). My solution was to update to the latest build. At the moment I'm using a build from yesterday. Works like a charm.  <

I was using XBOX Media Center 2004-05-03,

now I'm going to get the new one...
