Hey ra2shadow, if you're going to steal someone's xbox collection picture at least put some effort into it.

If you google "xbox 360 collection of games" and search images, "your" image is the 4th picture.  

If you follow the picture, it was actually posted in Jan. 2010 by a guy in Milwaukee.  Thread can be found here, image is about 3/4 down the page...

I don't get why some of you people won't buy another console for Live with your originals, and have one for offline with your "backups". As it has been said repeatedly, you knew the risk going online with a modified system, and now that Microsoft is getting smarter (finally), everyone yet again starts to panic with speculations and such.

Update on my part of testing:

Yesterday morning i was still playing AC:R while connected to live so it got silently updated. In the afternoon i read the bad news about the new DAE file, when i came home i unplugged the network cable and removed the disc from my console by pressing the eject button while it was still off (powers up the xbox and ejects straight away).

Then i checked xval and it said i wasn't flagged. Then i made a multi backup of my nand with NAND-X.
Just popped in AC:R and got the unsupported disc message and my system got flagged.

I've put the nand backup back that i made yesterday and the flag is gone .

Now i downloaded the update of xbuc and put it on a testing memorycard.
The game boots fine and nothing is flagged in the last hour after repeatedly powering off, powering on, booting game, removing and reinserting disc etc..

And offcourse i was not connected to live while doing this..

So this may indeed be a temporary OFFLINE solution.

edit reason: mentioned AC:R and AC:B, must be AC:R

was CB unaffected, or are we completely back to the drawing board?

Make sure you used the NTSC and not the PAL, both are available.

Did you clear your cache of the hdd or used a different storage device beforehand?
Als there are 2 different TU files, PAL and NTSC/U.
And there are 3 versions floating around the net if you didn't rip your own version. PAL, NTSC/U, NTSC/J.

Could also be that it is not working for that title...
