Thats not true. The only affected game so far is MW3 since my brother was playing Arkham City on his system, he tried MW3 but wasn't able to play the game....

MW3, Gears of war 3 and Driver could flag your system. What about Skyrim? someone please test this biggrin.gif It's a shame that even c4eva didn't provide the correct info.

Hmm, interesting, I wonder if this is different for different people too, now that would be an even harder kick to our balls  blink.gif

I don't even own MW3 and ran into the issue. Played two matches in Halo CE Anniversary and then got "Disc unsupported" and failed AP25 verification in XVal.

Anyone else get a 'unreadable disc' error and not the unsupported disc? I logged in, tried booting MW3 and received 'unreadable disc' telling me to clean the disc and reboot my xbox which I did. Then it loaded MW3 fine.. im just curious if my DAE.bin tables weren't updated yet and it was just a coincidence I got a different error?

This is with a BenQ running lt+ 2.0

This "update" happened on 16th or 17th or it could have been there since before?
I have one original with retail games i use 4 live.
other 360 only 4 backups but i just put it sometimes online to watch gamemovies and so ...
so with bad luck I could also get this "disease" ?

This is what appens to me: i did a Xval check this morning. I'm offline from this morning. Xval said i was clean. Now I'm still offline,I've tryin' to play mw3 and gow3 and i got a not supported disc message and xval say ap25. So????? I still can play assassin's creed 3, saint row 3,  battlefield 3 and others.  Am I completely screwd??? At this poit i can play fifa online...i'm already flagged. I don't think they will ban consoles...'cuase people...GLOBAL CRYSIS=no money to buy new consoles. Infact they start to update firmware and now this.

BTW...i was playin' mw3 last days...no one noticed that when you are about to play online the disc start spinning like crazy???? And I got it installed on my hd.

I first heard of this issue because I tried to play NFS: The Run for the first time and got the "This Disc is not supported" error, so I Googled it and here I am......however my other games still work....Battlefield 3....Skyrim.....Saint's Row....Driver......only NFS doesn't work....so what does THAT mean?  I have a slim with a 0225 LiteOn with LT+ 2.0.....

Is there any other method beyond putting in a XGD3 rip in to see if you've received the update?

I played my legit forza 4 last night around 10pm for about an hour online. That's the only XGD3 game I've played online as I was willing to wait for a new version of AGBX before I would trust anything was created properly.

So just to be clear, once the LT+2.0 for hitachi drives comes out, 360's with a hitachi or a sammy will still be able to go on live without this being a problem right?

Games confirmed to be working by me -

Assassin's Creed Revelations
Saint's Row 3
NFS : The Run
Battlefield 3
Rage
Batman Arkham City

Not working -

007 GoldenEye Reloaded
Dark Souls
Skyrim (arghhh!)

I didn't even bother trying Forza 4, Halo CE anniversary, MW3, Black ops, or Gears 3 because I'm under the impression that first and massive selling third party titles, such as the COD series, are major ways to incorporate new updates to, so more than likely they won't work. The reasoning behind the random other titles working/not working for people is beyond me. Good thing I still have my Limited edition gears console sitting pretty in it's unopened box smile.gif

Correct! This new check is part of AP2.5. Those drives don't even acknowledge the existence of AP2.5 data, so they'll literally play anything.

I have an older Falcon model that has not been on since yesterday morning. After hearing this news i tried to switch out my liteon with a samsung. Got on live today and no ap25 work at all. Both original and backups don't work. Im not getting the "unsupported error" instead im getting "dirty disk error". I checked my secdata is clean. I can see backups not working but why the originals? Anyone else tried this?
