Or to be more exact, no backups on live = job done
It's b****it, of course it won't work biggrin.gif

Ok, maybe I should have clarified my statement and thoughts. I have an xbox 360 model that is a little older. It came stock with a BenQ drive and DOES NOT have the 4GB memory built in.  I also have been updated to the new dashboard via the preview program.  Any time my hard drive is connected and I sign into live 3 titles fail to boot.  If I turn on my xbox 360 WITHOUT a hard drive or flash drive these three titles boot fine.  I've just tried it again to be sure. I have LT MAX 2.0 for benq on this xbox. Maybe, just maybe there is more to this than you guys are saying and you should see before calling b******t. I believe that SOMETHING is stored in the internal memory on systems that have 4GB and its not all in the NAND based on this.

something happens the last Tuesday, I have my profile in a USB because i change between the jtag and the stock and when the xbox was loading my profile online the xbox freeze trying to write something in the memory, so i think; that was the moment when M$ inject the file.
I don't play too much games in multiplayer I buy original games like GOW3 and MW3 (only those games this year) and played online the rest in my jtag, it's easy and less frustrating that been banned or dealing and waiting reactions of M$ against our Xbox Drives. it's only a recommendation an my own experience, at the end of the day you will lost less money and time.

Exactly, modding/hacking and such wouldn't be fun if there wasn't a challenge.  I agree, it sucks that MS does stuff like this, but in the event we had to reflash with a new firmware (I know thats not the case), I wouldnt mind.  I personally enjoy working on Xboxs very much.  It's all part of the game.
I do not understand why, if we rip a retail XGD3 backup using the 0800 firmware, and then burn with LT Burner Max, why would that disk still fail current AP2.5 checks?  It's not like the AP2.5 data on the physical disc changes every other week..  I plan on buying the Halo Anniversary remake today, if I buy that game it will have the same AP2.5 replay data on it 1 year from now.  I could be missing something or not understanding something correctly though...

To put it simply: AP2.5 data that you burn is a RESPONSE of a QUESTION that DAE.BIN makes, and now, DAE.BIN changes in a way that its never the same, so your burned backup cant RESPOND and fails secuiryt check. The original, as an original copy, has all that it needs to respond actual and future DAE.BIN request because the disc is pressed in a factory and not burned in a pc burner. It has data that CANT be burned.

Assassins Revelations confirmed not working either, but neither does the skyrim update from around same date although previously dated one does,  so just thinking we need earlier TU if it exist, if not may be screwed on those.

Heres the deal peeps-

I have a 256MB Jasper. Now with the HDD attached MW3 backup didnt boot.

With HDD deattached, the game boots and asks for Update. I saved the TU on the 256MB internal memory and the game plays fine.

Explanation/Thoughts: the new dae.bin security compares the disc authenticity to a file stored on the HDD. But because there are so many testfiles for many games, you can not store everything on the internal 256MB memory (probably just yet).

So I guess the only thing you need to do right now is:

1. connect USB stick to xbox, format it and turn off the xbox. Deattach HDD, turn on the xbox and start the game, it will ask to download the TU, save it on the USB stick.

End of the deal.

I didn't say it was complicated, idiot, I said playing the original is even easier - which it clearly is. Unless you consider opening a game case and inserting a disc more complicated than <insert your pathetic pirate avoidance workarounds here>.

Yes, I'm clearly trolling by pointing out the obvious log flaw in almost everyone who's posted here trying to get their quite obviously pirated backups working on Live. The mere fact nobody thought of using their original disc only further illustrates the real intent of users here....

The saving grace is that you're nearing the end of your time now. Pretty soon backups are going to be for offline use only, just how it should be and was on the original Xbox, and you'll be SOL. Enjoy it whilst it lasts biggrin.gif

</end of my input to this thread, as the deluded pirates arrive to defend themselves>

I own every game I have a copy of bar cod4 as some little fool stole it, I much prefer playing copies due to kids I have a 7 year old that wouldnt know how to take care of a football never mind a DVD.

Its is a pain and could be costly to me, I know there a hole load of folks that do it for other reasons and with them I agree, the games are overpriced and on the hole not worth it.
A friend got MW3 and beat it in 3 hours, he doesnt have the net so a waste of cash. (Luckly we link up weekly)

That being said there are 1000s upon 1000s doing it for my reason, I know 4 off hand.

What I want to say really is F**K OFF TROLL.

Also some dude asked if you need CFW to use xkey360.

Does the Xbox 360 DVD drive need any custom firmware flashed to work with Xkey?
No, quite the opposite in fact. You need a dump of the original drive firmware to configure Xkey. The good news is that's all you need to configure Xkey.
Well you need your firmware and £90

Are you like the Xk3y spokesperson?  How much they paying?  I bet if I search your post you will see they call contain the word Xk3y.

>> Hey, what's for lunch?

badhabit >> I dunno but my sandwiches taste better with xk3y spread.

What reason should I buy an xk3y now that RGH is out?
