Making A Back-up After New Update
« on: September 06, 2011, 11:14:00 AM »

Hi everybody im not sure if im posting in the right place if so, sorry guys.

My son Just got the kinect it asked for him to do an update so we logged on to xbox live and did the update. Now none of his back-ups works just the originals. Ive been doing a lot of reading and if im correct i have to run the the game thru the latest version of abgx and re-burn the back-up game. His xbox was flashed maybe a year ago and its Lt firmware that hes running.

He doesnt want to play any of the newer releases he just wants his kinect games to work, Micheal Jackson The Exp, Yoostar. So im hoping that his system wont need to upgraded to play those games. oh yeah and he never plays on xbox live. Any help would be great. Thanks Everybody

You may have to possibly re-flash the drive depending on what dash you updated to as it may have flashed your drive back to stock if it has re-flash with LT+ 1.91 and run through the backups on abgx just to be on the safe side.

First off sorry for the double post i dont know why it did that.

Thank you jamiebarrington for your quick responce.  OK so i might have to re-flash his drive which would be no problem but he's in sacramento,CA and im in New Orleans,La. I guess he's going to have to mail it to me. Thanks for you very helpful suggestion.

Hey guys, yeah it seems like you have updated to the new dash and in doing so, the update has reflashed the DVD drive back to stock. It's no big deal, you just need to get it re-flashed. Posting it across the US seems like a hassle though!! if i was in California I would do it for you, lol but unfortunately im in Australia. Is there anyone in California who can help srog out??
