Yeah, I initially thought about the justification for not releasing it publically, but I don't think M$ could be in the dark about 'how ap 2.5 SS was being read' , all they have to do is look at a patched image and they have all the info they need. I can't tell ppl here in Australia that they are safe to patch/run backups for those titles at the moment as even if they have a PAL version, the crc's are often different here than UK's.

I'm sure there is a good reason for it (that I can't seem to figure-out currently) but given the situation and the fact M$ have just vested a fair bit into their latest copy-protection, perhaps Xecuter could at least given certain 'trusted/trustable' regional modding orgs a copy of their ripping SW/FW ;-) so that we might be able to upload the patches. Or perhaps they could develop a better way for us to send them originals (preferably the former) As it would seem that TU's or encoded .Xex's are no longer going to dictate AP 2.5 checks......

i think in the same way.
We need support and obliged to use only uk release only power equivalent to piracy.

Hey Scene,

I am just making sure of something.  I only need to reburn these games with a fresh abgx360 check, not rip a new Iso from my stock disc and then run it through abgx360?  Since the database has been updated with new patches they should overwrite the old ones that are currently on my ripped game file.   Is this a correct understanding?

Thanks.

Yes, You only need run the .iso (assuming you still have it) thru AGBX and then re-burn.

Is anybody else's AP25 patched backup copy of black ops locking up after breaking out of the chair at the main menu? I have reburned about 5 times, and all copies do the same thing. The game works fine for zombies, single player campaign, and multiplayer, but it locks up within a few seconds every time I break out of the chair.

My guess would be that ur original had either dust or a scratch before you ripped it (although you never know, without knowing ur region it's difficult to tell but usually if it doesn't pass the initial check then it won't boot period), Make sure you verify after burning, as verification will confirm that the problem is with the image on ur hdd (AGBX wont pick-up most basic forms of data corruption) ie; If ImgBurn/XBC verifys after writing then don't bother burning it again (let alone 5 times) Re-Rip and Re-Patch
I suspect that the new dash is carrying-out checks though at other intervals eg; when you go back to dash but it's unlikely that ur issue has anything to do with AP 2.5

Hope this helps/Dan

Regarding the 0800 firmware that can rip ap2.5 if it's not being released to public for security reasons fair enough but why not then allow a few people from each region that are trusted to have it to do the ripping for each region sending in games is silly and to me holding off sharing is opposite what this scene is suppose to be about.

I am annoyed because I rip my own purchased games and can't use them because there not in the database this defeats the pupose of flashing my drive which again shows this is encouraging piracy.

I have a Benq drive with the newest version of the LT Firmware (the one before LT+) Anyway I updated and I'm flagged(whatever) Just wondering if I update to the LT+ Firmware after being flagged will that fix the problems of not being able to play All the current AP2.5 games or will being flagged F-everything up? Thank you for your time and patience.

Yesterday i read at the Xecuter Forum that Team Xecuter is not interested in releasing patches for non English titles anymore.

Anyhow thats pointless.

Next Update - new Games.

Why not sharing the Extration method to some thrustful guys in every region ?
