Team Xecuter about New Dashboard: No New FW Needed, Patches Coming *Update*

After New Dash Update 12625 the following games do not boot (Black Screen):
Black Ops
Modern Warfare 2
Halo Reach

This is an AP2.5 Update so naturally this does not affect non AP2.5 DVD drives (Early Hitachi & Samsung).

If you had LT+ flashed then you will NOT be flagged for a possible ban (good Job c4eva !).

If you did not have LT+ flashed and you tried to boot these games as backups then you are probably flagged for a ban.

AP2.5 Data both PAL and NTSC have been extracted (thanks to c4 and k3) and c4 is now working on the patches and testing will commence.

There will be no need for a firmware update.

We recommend you do not update yet until there is a working method tested and released.

There is no ETA on release so do not ask. if you ask then other members have my permissions to facepalm the offender and ridicule them until they probably start crying.

*Update* Patches have been released via ABGX360 - use the latest version (v1.05)

I wonder if C4Eva knewed this would eventually happend, as he said something about they "Might adding" AP 2.5 checks for older games..
Also, the first games that had AP 2.5 checks where:
Fable III
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
Assassins Creed: Brotherhood

That was for the first dash, this one stops:
Black Ops
Modern Warfare 2
Halo Reach

i don't think it's a coincidence that it was those three games. because i am sure those three games alone probably make up a large percentage of XBox Live users in general and you can guarantee Microsoft knew this would mess with a lot of people in the hopes that could get them to avoid the moding scene etc.

good thing is, i could pretty much care less about those games

p.s. about the only game i care about that's coming out in the not to distant future would be Mortal Kombat (i.e. MK9) which is due April 2011.

but either way, i am golden because i got a Samsung 360 myself which is immune to AP2.5 as we already know.

Abgx Database has been updated to automatically patch ap2.5 for you! I checked all 3 games and can confirm all are working perfect! Thank You Team xecuter, Team Jungle, Seacrest, and of course C4EVA!! Now would be a good time to donate to any of the above mentioned names.

didnt take to long to fix... humans freak out to easy... thanks to c4e for the work your do.. keep it up.. some of us dont take it for granted. now... i wonder how long til freeboot is updated to the new dash (although you can hardly call it an update) =P
