When Did Ssv2 Start?
« on: December 07, 2010, 01:12:00 PM »

I ask this because I used to use a Kreon to backup my originals. I switched to an 0800 drive last year. However I have a lot of kreon backups. I haven't used them since I learned that Kreon drives don't do ssv2.

In order to keep from having to rerip all my originals does anyone know when ssv2 started? what game did it start with?

Anyone know if the following are SSV2?

NASCAR 09
Burnout Paradise
Namco Museum Virtual Arcade
Midnight Club Los Angeles
Need for Speed Carbon/Most Wanted/ProStreet/Underground
Skate 2
Alone in the Dark
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection

I have a bunch others and hate to rerip them all. So if anyone has an idea or knows the cutoff point it would help.

Thanks,

XBD

hehe i know this wont help you but im just clarifying what you said is what im thinking you said. no clue what ssv2 is but are you asking if your game images are safe to use or will work?

easy way to know if they worked is test it hehe um as with your question half that list is old as alone in the dark is your newest game listed but just incase this helps you the first game released that required the active.iso disk to unlock the console and play game was tom clancy's hawx 1
