Kreon Drives - Backing Up Games

OK.  I hope someone can clear this up.

With the new A.P.25 protection, will you still be able to make a backup copy of a 360 game using the current Kreon firmware on a sammy drive?  i know c4e mentioned in one of his chats - kreon fail!!  Does that mean if you slap a game in the sammy drive now e.g AC:B if just wont recognise it to be able to make backup copy????????

Call me thick...which ya might..........  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

You really shouldn't be using a Kreon flashed PC drive at all even before this whole ap 2.5 kicked off. They can only replicate SSV1 and SSV2 has been in use for a long time now!

Kreon firmware on a Samsung SH-D162C drive is not correct way for backup ever since the introduction of ssv2 protection.

With the new AP25 ssv3 protection - you have to wait for the new 0800 firmware.
Also an XBOX360 Samsung drive might not be a valid backup drive as it don't recognize AP25 code function...not sure.

And of course new version of xbc or S360X that will support ssv3 duplication.

Even if it isnt the best way to backup games, if you have a banned 360, can you rip an AP2.5 title with a kreon and be able to boot it with LT+

Just back it up, then run it through ABGX and it will autofix it for you to work with LT+

Although I did just buy a rom-drive for use as a 0800 I've been backing up my games and playing on live with them for 2 weeks now. No ban, I realize I'll get a ban sooner or later, I'm just saying it can be done.

Games I play

MW2
Black Ops
Blur
etc...
