Usually your xbox shouldn't have trouble reading Verbs but will have a harder time reading cheap media vs originals. I doubt the region of your burner will affect the discs it produces so I'm thinking its just a bad burn. Did you completely check the disc in ABGX? It takes a while to check the game data but there could be an error in it because it happened to me recently on a seemingly perfect burn. Fable III has its separate issues but it would yield a "disc unreadable" error I believe.
