so the new kinect games dont have the ap2.5? Im trying to find a flashed console SOLELY to play these kinect games. Can anyone help me out?

I notice that checking a kinect backup with abgx 1.02 says:

Cannot check SplitVid due to invalid or uncertain PFI/Video

Whereas checking it with abgx 1.03 says:

Size is too small for SplitVid, extending...

SplitVid is invalid, fixing...
SplitVid was added successfully!

I wonder if this "fixing" of the splitvid will get around people having "Play DVD" issues?

Hi good info! Could you tell me which FW release it is and did you change wave on the kinect game?

Its the LT 1.2 for Benq the dashboard is the one downloaded from xbox.com and burnt to CD.
The games are a straight backup.

After some research on the forum and elsewhere, I change the firmware on my DVD player. Now, everything works with iXtreme 1.6 NS.

I have the same problem with Kinect backups showing Play DVD. I have a banned xbox with a samsung ms28 drive with iextreme 1.61 that pretty much plays everything. I inserted activate.iso and then the game that said play dvd and it played. What does that mean? That if I wave patch them (As wave 3 ?) then I wont need the Activate.iso ?
