First if you plan to play online, your 1.51 firmware isn't safe on LIVE. You will get banned.

If you don't use LIVE, then you will need a boot disc for the newer games. There is a file, I think it's activate.iso that is in the 1.61 firmware files that you will need to burn to a dual layer disc. After you power up your 360, put the disc in, let it read it, then put the game disc in. It should load.
