OK, this is an easy one. All you need is the 1.60 or 1.61 firmware for the BENQ drive. Both are 0800. Use jungleflasher to flash it just like you would if you were going to use it in the 360.
Then you hook it to a sata port on your PC. You'll need a way to power it. You can use a maximus connectivity kit (or whatever brand you wish). A standard molex power adapter won't work cause it has a different power connector than a standard sata drive. Plus you'll need to eject it so if you have a connectivity kit they have an eject button and on/off switch on them.
Once you have it connected. You'll need to boot your PC into windows, power up the drive, open the tray, then power the drive back down. Push the tray half closed. (I usually put my index finger in the hole and push till it almost touches the front of the drive). Then power the drive back on. My PC wont recognize the drive till I then push eject. So I usually wait like 10secs and push eject.
Then start Xbox Backup Creator, select the drive and you're ready to rip.
Note: It can be tricky to get your PC to recognize the drive. My NForce 3 Sata wouldn't work right with it. However my 6421 Sata Card works fine. On my other PC it would work but when it tried to unlock the game partition it would error out. So if it doesn't work on one PC try another or get a SATA Card.
Enjoy backing up your originals!
