How To Make Good Back Ups?
« on: February 23, 2010, 07:04:00 PM »

So i got everything down to burning games, i have imgburn and ashampoo burning studio. but i have dvd-r dl 8x dvd's and i was burning at the lowest speed possible wich was 4x's but the loading is still very slow and some of it freezes in the same spots like the data was not burned correctly.

so i was wondering if i can get some good pointers on burning.. should i burning at 8x's instead of 4x's?

or is there a better program then imgburn. or can someone lead me threw it wit ashampoo cuz the cd's wouldent even work when i burn them with ashampoo

or anything else for better quality

ive searched google and what not for this to but dident find anything so if im reposting something that was asked already sorry

i also have a samsung drive ms25 with ixtreme 1.61

you don't state what dvd-dl you are using. never had much success with any media dvd other than Verbatim, what are you using. with my Verbatim i always use 8x speed  99% success

also make sure your imagburn daul layer Write setting are set to "user Specified" 1913760

Can anyone provide a link to a good place to buy verbatim dvd-r Dual Layer discs?

I can only seem to find 3-packs of the "-" discs...the 20-pack or more bundles all seem to be "+" discs, which you cannot use, correct?
