Playing Ssv1 Game Offline And Ssv2 Online.
« on: January 27, 2010, 11:41:00 AM »

I am gong to mod my 360 since my last was banned but I have a few questions.  I dont want to have to worry about this ssv1 and v2 crap.  I just know ssv2 is "safe" and ssv1 is not. I have a ton of backups in ssv1, but I dont want to have to redo them all.  Is it possible to unplug my ethernet to be completely offline and play ssv1 games.  Then if I want to play a SSv2 or a retail disk online, just plug my ethernet back in and play on live.
Is there still a chance of Microsoft seeing I played a ssv1 backup game offline, or is there no way of them knowing?  The only game I really plan on playing online is MW2 and its the actual retail disk, not a backup.
Thanks for any help you guys might have.

Bump... I have a Smackdown vs Raw 2010 burned copy, but I run it through abgx and it comes out ssv1 and idk whether my buddy doesnt remember whether he ripped it with a Kreon or his Sammy with 0800.  I was wondering if I could play offline with everything disconnected.... anyone know??

You don't have to re rip all of your backups. Just simply run it through abgx360 and apply level two autofixing under the autofix tab. Occasionally some games will tell you to apply Level 3 to stealth patch it. Like CODMW2 and Madden 2010 for example.

Remember people did get banned who weren't even playing on live before as well. So just patch everything with SSV2 first. Also make sure that when you do burn the image, you open the .iso file with notepad and copy the 1913760 code into the sectors in LO box under the write tab.

Hope this Helps
