Benq Vad6038 To Pc ?

Right, i know i'm not the only one who's spent hours and hours trying to learn how to copy 360 games!!

I'm not great with computers but i know enough to get by. So i read and read and read and read (you get the idea!) I've still not found a nice guide that actually works!! So please can someone humor me and walk me through it! That way you can laugh and call me names when we figure out where i'm going wrong!!!

Ok, so i just bought a VAD6038 Benq. My friend found me a wiring diagram to power it (http://www.kev.nu/360/dvdshort.html) and i've powered it up.

But pc is not seeing it!
I've got - junglefalsher, dosflash and xbox backup creator on pc.
And just been told to add portio32 driver, now done.
Also some libaryfiles.exe thing which made xbc run.

Can someone please tell me how to make this all work???????????????????

EDIT - Just managed to get pc to see drive. Did something with DosFlash, used ix16-benq-0800.bin Not sure what that did.

the 0800 fw is what you need for windows to see it. as a pc drive.

Theres a few guides, get the software Xbox backup Creator, or S360X. Your preference from here.

Think im having trouble changing the firmware!!
My pcs hanging big time!!!!!!!!
Plus i cant right click and eject the 360 drive!

Don't know if i've flashed it properly : i used dosflash32, went to write and used ix16-benq-0800. Then nothing conclusive happened.

I cant even click on the drive in my computer without it just stopin and hangin for ages!!

Have i done something wrong????

do you have an eject switch wired up to pin 8? I had this same problem, and didnt correct itself until i correctly hooked up a SPDT switch on pin 8, then the problem disappeared with the hanging issue.
