How Do You Rebuild An Extracted Iso?
« on: January 05, 2010, 08:54:00 AM »

Just wondering if it is possible to extract a file from an XBOX360 game iso and change the file and put it back into the iso again? What tools would allow this?

I know it is the first link, but a lot of the forums I read seemed to have problems with it, was wondering if there were alternatives.

Thanks for the help, I'll give it a go.

Ive never been able to make a working ISO with Xdvdmulleter. It always gives me "video file not found" error so an alternative would be nice.

Ive read somewhere that Xbox Image Browser can inject files into iso`s.

Im still looking for something that can rebuild an iso from scratch, for instance if ive extracted an iso with Xbox Image Browser, how do i rebuild the whole iso again. Anyone?

How do you know their info is better than yours!

- On two  occasions recently, rip of original games did indicated 'DMI  unverified' in ABGX, even after a second rip. A few people confirmed  they extracted their original and got the exact same image and the same  difference to the DB. I do not want to draw any conclusions  (data not good, more than one version of stealth info...) as it would  be speculation. Only thing sure, nothing better than your data, from  your original and that is all we accept to see discussed at XS All  Threads / Posts on this will be closed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Wxripper & Mulleter/ABGX Method:
For the same reason as above, these threads will be closed. This would  the equivalent to downloading the SS, PFI, DMI...We only allow  discussion on backups made in totality by you, and with all components  coming from your original and for that you need a Kreon or x360  Samsung/Benq drive flashed with iXtreme 1.61. As such, you will be able  to do complete backups, no need to download/fix anything with Online DB. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Now if you got HomeBrew on you x360 and you need to Extract the ISO then you should try the right Thread and not this one hope this helps also I don't know noting about the HomeBrew might be trying this after I get School finished 5 Chapters 3 Exams left boo ya!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
