I don't get the Question but if your looking to change the File Types goto "Start" then click Run type "control folders" "File Types" Tab or the application your using to Handel the File Type.

First rip the game with a x360 drive with 0800 using Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom360 Xtract S360X save game to HDD in a folder when done a .dvd and iso file should be in there after ripping the game, then burn with Imgburn that easy read my Schtrom360 Xtract S360X Guide at the end when burning with Imgburn.

Let me rephrase the question.  I have an X360 image file with the extension .360 instead of .DVD or .ISO or .BIN.  So, the question is:

A.  Which software was used to make this image file (therefore which software I have to use to burn it)?

or if this in unknown,

B.  Are there tools that will allow me to examine this image file to determine which software used to create it?

Thanks for any and all help!

let me make it easier for you. the only way you cannot know what was used to make this backup, is that you illegally obtained it.

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKUPS AND YOU WONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
