L4d2 Patch To Wave 3
« on: December 27, 2009, 11:37:00 AM »

i am trying to patch my L4D2 game to wave 3.  i dont play online an never will due to bandwith.  my L4D game of the year edition had no problems.  but i am having trouble with part 2.  i have samsung m25 flashed with 1.51 and i also did the dashboard update for the L4D2 disc.  i ripped my last game (L4D GOTY edition) using the wxripper method, the used abgx360 to patch and it plays perfect.  i use sony and vit dl+r dvd's burnt at 2.4x.  all my copies have worked flawless so far until now.  i tried using ppf o matic, but i think using wxripper leaves out some things that abgx put in.  i also tried the 360 waves pather with no luck either.  i have tried ever combination on the net and gotten 4 coasters.  this is where i am at now.  i have used wxripper and dummied the first 3 lines, which has always worked before.  then i set up abgx360 for wave 3 patch and this is my results.  i would like to have you guy take a look at it and see if it looks good before i burn another coaster.

L4d2 Patch To Wave 3
« Reply #1 on: December 27, 2009, 12:57:00 PM »

Since you have a samsung drive and you don't plan on ever using live, you can just flash it with the xtreme 5.3 firmware (it plays everthing).

Then you'll never have to worry about wave-patching again.
