Splitvid is something that is on both layers yes? My dvd drive is not DL dvd, but when I have put in a backup (In a new version of abgx), I get, "Splitvid is good" or whatever. Not sure if that is accurate.

See, my friend rips games for me and burns them, but now they need to be checked for when iX LT comes out.

I have to check all my backups on a DL DVD drive right?

I may as well add that we use a kreon drive to rip. Do I need to update the firmware on the Kreon or do anything special so that it rips games correctly for IX LT?

First off you got some wait for the iX (Lite Touch) C4e is not giving this for Free because he's a Treader to the team so Free iX v1.51 for the HITACHI GDR-3120L, iX v1.6 for Liteon's, iX v1.61 for Benq and Samaug v1.7 you Pay for it. Plus it's only for the Liteon drive's so everyone got there face push through a wall big time.

Maybe you should try backing up your own Games and not your friend besides $30 for a DL Burner, I hate to say this but I'm and not been mean or noting but I spend $260 on hardware and DL Disc's to make backups of my Games so if you came to be in the game you better be ready to Pay for it because noting comes for Free.

What is SplitVid ?

Before Splitvid: Splitvid is in fact an adapted version of the traditional Xtreme format used up to XBC 2.6/Schtrom 3.3. The traditional Xtreme format backup have both part of the video partition on layer 0. Current hacked firmware will manage the request for the video partition sector of layer 1 such that they appear as being in their right place even if in fact recovered from layer 0 (thks to C4Eva) He's the man. As a result, if the disk is queried for the various sectors, they appear at their proper place.

Splitvid: The new splitvid format respects the format of an original disc by having the video partition on layer 1 as per the original. It also maintain a copy of the layer 1 video partition on layer 0 such that it respect the traditional Xtreme format. Both format are included so you lose nothing by using it. You got your Answer about the (LT) Read it just like everyone else and if you don't like reading well this is not the place for you, Also about the splitvid you got your answer on that to. I read 7 weeks before I got to play a Backup and now don't give a shit about playing Games anymore I like helping and Making my self more Powerful then before. He also was planning ANOTHER pay-for-key licensing program with ixtreme 1.7. Here is logs of some conversation:

1.7 will have new one shot boot and anti ap25, MS has been readying the routine in the new liteons, it is ready to use and is very accurtae
wholesale modders ship new drive pcbs to us, we mod, send back but this can include older liteons if they wish, no fw released ever, no public released, but wholesale modders can sell modded systems or drives
1.61 fw is only for benq and sammy
1.7 will be for liteon only
1.7 has some extra features and the drive key is encrypted
new features are anti-ap25 and one shot boot session (until power off)
in the end their drivekey will not work in 1.7 unless it is our encrypted version
1.7 will be for all liteons
the liteon will have 1.7

Don't get your panties in a knot because if you read the Post on the X-S. It is a fact that there are several people who modified their hitachi, with security/dmi support - before c4e hit the scene and released his modifications!!

Someone will get a fix for everyone just hang in there and the Xbox 360 is 4 Years old Nov 22 so how many games do you think is coming out from now and E3 2011. Microsoft was going to launch a New x360 2010 that's right next year but M$ is trying to push Project Natal out 2010 then you'll hear a new Console launching at E3 or even sooner! PC all the Way.

OP, don't listen to this guy. This has been talked about SO MANY TIMES..

1.7 will NEVER be released.. LT is free and this poster, PhoneyVirus is absolutely wrong.

He will be the one who needs to do the reading up.. as it was stated before.. the reason it a bunch of balony is because the exploit they were using was made public in order so C4EVA would'nt start charging people and of course before 1.7 was done, people got massively banned.. These two things put the nail in the coffin for Pay2Play firmwares/hacks/drives.. LT is FREE, it has been confirmed over and over again..

so please, PV.. you do the reading next time.

Until it's on the X-S it's not Free! and it's ONLY for the Liteon drive's so people with a Benq and Sammy got to stick with iX v1.61 witch can play Wave 4 games but don't know about future Waves, example L4D2 is wave 5 and plays on iX v1.61 only time can tell whether iX v1.61 will play future wave's and if c4e will lunch a newer version, witch right now don't look good.

with all the homebrew out only thing we need left to do is ftp and the ping limit...for kai and leaf
as for this LT, thats a whole new liteon ban....does it really matter......lol 1.61, but for liteon with a shorter nand write and better fixed challenge response timing attack from live--- and fixed is what they caught on to...next.....

2 consoles 1 for live and 1 for homebrew.....I'd rather pay 10-40 bucks for a game for the live console...at least yourr safe...
last fw we lasted 3 months from a year.....

Hey, we've already established that you do NOT need a dual-layer burning DVD drive to read a dual-layer DVD, right? EVERY DVD drive can read EVERY dual-layer DVD. That's what movies are, and have been for some time. If your computer/drive was made before 2004, then it MIGHT not be able to read dual-layer discs. But it should.
