It has ALL to do with the thread, because it's another dupe! of the same subject matter!

All other brands i've tried have failed in one way or another.
Maybe people will read it and ACTUALLY LISTEN!

Verbatim is the ONLY brand I've ever used for 360 games. I will continue to use them as well. I admit sometimes it's tempting to go for a good deal on other media. However, it's not a good deal if the media is pure junk. Newegg takes care of my needs for Verbatim media most of the time.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yeah, wonder why anybody would else anything other than Verbs. It's not like they're expensive. $1/each. I probably just wasted more money typing this message instead of working.

I took advantage of the deal newegg had on Verbs and bought 5 20 packs for just under $100 shipped. I used one pack of Memorex when I first modded my box. All Verbs since then.

I used singapore verbatims for my first 70 backups, I found a deal at best buy that had 30pks of Memorex for $10, so I figured I would give it a try. I have gone through 4 50pks of Memorex and I have had no problems, sometimes cinemas skip, like the dragon age opening but I saved a crazy amount of money.

i don't see what non-verbatims has to do with the firmware.  Now you can control your different media types (original, backups) in general from the firmware but a specific vendor control?  Anyhow, I have always pot-tweaked for those idiots that do not use verbatim (memorex is cheaper, but crappier), but what does that have to do with firmware? Does team Jungle not know how to pot-tweak, are they letting idiots test LT for them.  Give it to me!!!! I'll test it!

i think it might have to do with seek times and response times..LT is as near to original firmware as it can be..which leaves us to make the backups as close to the originals as can be..using crappy media kind of defeats the object..put an aone disk into the drive and then put a verbatim in..you can pot tweakall ya want to get it to read it still wont read it well..you can physicaly hear the difference in aone and verbatim.

Pot tweeking doesnt make a bad quality disk any better.
Its like trying to talk to some one that bearly speaks english.
Yelling at them isnt going to help them understand you any better.
And thats all the pot tweek does, Turns up the power.
