Topic: Game Dosen't Boot ! (few Games Won't) (Read 80 times)

Hello Everyone,

I have been a bit confused regarding a theory.

Well, Please have a look at my old post:

I wasn't able to boot Assasins Creed 2 , since the game requires newer version of dashboard.

I am able to play Assasins Creed 2 , Halo 3 ODST & many new games.

Although, When i try to insert "GTA: Liberty City" I just get "XBOX 360" Logo (throught my screen) That's it.

I have latest xbox flashed with 1.61 (it's a liteon) , Although If i think it's a DVD issue, The game boots up on my other mate's console fine. (His console has been flashed long back about 6-8 months) while mine was flashed 1 week back.

The SAME thing happened with Call of Duty : 4 Modern Warfare 2. It says " Bad media " or something. While it boots up fine on my mate's 360.

I can play other wave 4 games fine.

When it can boot Assasins Creed 2 (Latest one) why can't it GTA or COD 4: 2? When it can actually boot up on my mate's 360?

I was just getting confused.

I am just assuming, Either the game must be patched (Cuz there's no way it can boot on a console which is flashed 6-8 months back or so)(assuming his firmware to be 1.51). He dosen't even use Activate.iso

I'm just looking for suggestions. Is something wrong with my "New" 360? When it can boot up Batman , Smackdown Vs raw 2010,AC2 & other games.

Help would be really appreciated.

Instead of assuming it was patched, why don't you run the disc through abgx and find out?

unless i'm missing something there is no 1.51 for lite-ons. and it seems like this dude is not using a activate disc to boot.

like i said, unless i'm missing something, i think he's a little misimformed about his ixtreme version

dude, at the time of your post the liteon only could do 1.60.....there wasn't no fw for 1.61 and that was iffy...
you do know this right.....

iX v1.6 is for the Liteon drive your can't go any higher or any lower and iX v1.7 aka (Lite Touch) C4e is not giving this for Free because he's a Treader to the team so Free iX v1.51 for the HITACHI GDR-3120L, iX v1.6 for Liteon's, iX v1.61 for Benq and Samaug v1.7 you Pay! for it, Plus it's only for the Liteon drive's. ehm.. wrong. I have a pristine 1.51 lite-on drive.

there is no 1.4 for lite-ons.

dude stop spreading lies.. This has been said SO MANY Freakin times.. LT is and will be FREE.

Their little scheme to charge money fell through the cracks... it was made public various times.. so please. STOP with the "LT won't be free"... shhh with that now.

I am running 1.5.1 on a BenQ

I also backed up my MW2 and was getting the white screen with the logo you mentioned

I tried multiple times to Patch MW2 down to 3rd Wave via ABGX and it would never go

I then found a PPF patch that said it was for 1.4 & 1.5 firmware to run Wave 4 games

I ran this patcher on the MW2 ISO and THEN did the wave 3 patching technique on ABGX

After that, my MW2 booted perfectly fine

sir you will need the ativate.iso and your FW is 1.60
