Help Backing Up Original Problems.
« on: November 27, 2009, 11:21:00 PM »

hello, i am trying to rip official xbox 360 games to my laptop hardrive so i can burn a back up version.
when i try to rip it in image burn it only takes around 6 seconds, i tried to burn it and it didnt wor( got the mds and iso file, but the iso file was only about 5,760kb or something like that.) i know .iso files are large. so i went out and bought a back up verson on burned disc and tried to rip that and it wokred fine. anybody know what the problem is?

read the tutorials on the top of page and there is so muchh there, kinda made it more confusing.
i think it might be that my drive is incapable, that i NEED a kreon drive or could it by that game is copyrighted?

What drive did you put the Xbox 360 game in? Not the laptop dvd drive I hope.

If you have flashed your Xbox 360 dvd drive you can flash that with the 0800 firmware but then again you don't have a desktop because you need one to hook up your Xbox dvd drive to and I am not sure if there's a way to hook it up to your laptop.

First of all you are not allowed to discuss making backups out of backups. And you also mentioned in your OP that you bought some backups and made backups out of that. I am pretty sure the moderators will not be impressed.

Secondly, the xbox 360 game are not readable on ANY dvd drive with the exception of the good old Kreon drive. But Kreon drives doesn't rip games as good as a xbox 360 dvd drive (flashed with 0800 f/w).

1 - no backup of backup talk here (read rules)

2 - buy a kreon or flash an 800 drive to rip your games
