Topic: 360 Wont Recognize Disk (Read 88 times)

I have a Hitachi 59 falshed with iXtreme 1.51 and I burned 2 Wave 3 games so I know they are supported. I put them in the 360 and it spins the disc acting like it reads it but then just says open tray. I burned them using ImgBurn at 2.0 speed and DL disks. Any help?

Have you tried using the boot loader disc? That should tell you if the discs are in fact bootable or if they are coasters.

activate.iso disc is for ixtreme 1.6 only.

If your hitachi is flashed with 1.5.1 it should read those games fine. My guess is your laser is crapping out, or its being picky about the media you are using.

Yeah its flashed 1.51 so it should read the games but its not. If the laser was crappin out would it read retail games? Mine does

Oops sorry, I didn't know the boot loader was 1.6 only. If the laser was crapping out I'd guess it would have trouble reading any disc. I know there is a laser recalibration how-to on this forum somewhere, although it probably wont help if the laser has crapped out completely.

I don't think it can be the laser because I put in GoW2 and GHWT and it read both fine. Then I put in a burnt game and it wont read. Im 99.9% sure it is flashed.

I also have a 1.51 Hitachi and I'm having the same problem. They are usually fixed if I restart the 360 though. Have you tested this with different burnt games?

Yeah I've tried it with 2 getting a 3rd to burn soon. No difference though between those 2 discs
