basically, in JF you unlock sammy, load 800 firmware in firmware tool section then flash.

There are two versions of Firmware one for playing your games that's iXtreme 1.61 and ix16-0800 being a dedicated "ripping" drive "Update" A new version (v1.61) of the iXtreme DVD Firmware for both Samsung and BenQ DVD drives has been released. Yes you can flash your drive with jungleflasher get the new update before flashing on there site hope this helps

Note: I used JF on a Benq drive not a sammy so if anything happens I cant help but can give you a push in the right direction read Jungleflashers PDF and TroubleShooting Guide before flashing anything Get that Original DVDkey off your drive before doing a erase or flashing and Don't Autoload the firmware loaded it your self Jungleflashers PDF is going to tell you to Don't and spoof it your self.

SS v2 supports multiple timing samples for challenges type 5 and 7, storing them in the SS. This is a pre-requisite for SS v3 which has support for the so called AP2.5 check. Since this has never been used or may never be used by MS we will adopt a wait and see approach and continue to monitor for its usage.

After I had my Benq flashed with IXtreme 1.6 then turned it in a dedicated "ripping" drive with 0800 firmware I needed to put the drive in Vendor Mode use the tray half open to get JF to see it, JF ver was 1.66 beta with ICH10R chip set no VIA and just did the spoofing too no problems backing up my games with or with out it worked for me on my benq but like I said I had ix1.6 on it at the time hope this helps
