You can, either using the broken xbox's power, or a connectivity kit.

One of my boxes has rrod, i use that to create my backups.

One thing to note if you do go down that route, don't forget to plug in the video cable, or the xbox will automatically shut off.

btw this drive has to have hacked firmware (0800 makes life so much easier, trust me)

cool thnxxxx, i though it would be kind of easier using the broken X, i just need a very long sata cable...


thenx gonna get some info on flashing that drive ...
