Xbc Error On Opening

Does anyone know why this pops up when i open XBC with a game disc in ready to rip?  Does it affect the rip? Don't be shy, please respond if you know! thanks!


So here is my problem:
I boot up my computer and when it is up i insert the game disc. I wait until the autoplay pops up then close it. Then I open XBC and before the window opens, an error pops up saying:

Xbox Backup Creator
Action: Read DMI Sector
Sense Error: 5 / 24 / 00
INVALID FIELD IN CDB
CDB: READ DVD STRUCTURE
0xAD 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 08 04 00 00

start xbc without a disc in the drive

Don't start xbc with a disc in the drive. Make sure you use good media.
