Need To Buy A New Dvd Burner
« on: August 21, 2009, 02:34:00 PM »

Hey everyone.
I have to buy a new dvd-dl burner for my backups, i have seen alot of good stuff about the pioneer 112 but there is not any available where i live.

Im thinking of buying a Samsung Super-WriteMaster SH-S223B or Lite-On iHAS324-32
does anyone know if these are good drives to burn 360 backups?

If not, which is the better drive manufacturer? Lite-On, Samsung, Plextor, HP, etc.?

Thanks for you help (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

just cause you can't find a pioneer 112 doesn't mean you should stop looking.  It also depends on if you need IDE or SATA.  The 112 is IDE.  I'm using a pioneer 116d just fine.  What I'm trying to say is pioneer is the best you can get imo..whether it be IDE or SATA.
