« on: August 03, 2009, 02:36:00 PM »

Now that I have reinstalled the drivers i cannot get XBC to detect my drive anymore. --

Question.. But windows now detect the drive? When you reload the drivers, did you reload the firmware too?

Windows does detect it and I even got XBC to detect it but the start button is now greyed out. I haven't touched the firmware as of yet. I figured it had to be something else as it stop working all of a sudden.

Okay, I've reinstalled windows and still no luck. I even went out and bought a new SATA card to make sure that wasn't it. Does anybody have any other suggestions as it was working fine and all of a sudden it does not find my drive anymore. The drivers are installed fine with no ? marks. Although it does state 3249 instead of 6421 which from what I've been reading in the forum is okay. Any Ideas anyone??

Hi there
have you got the winford drivers installed for your sata card if so have you changed your antivirus software lately because i had the same problem it was mcaffe bt protect antivirus thinking that the winford driver was a trojan and blocking it,check your antivirus log files or disable your anti virus and reinstall drivers then see if the drive is detected with antivirus disabled hope this helps
