I did, but they weren't familiar with the problem. Later I found out that the problem only occurs on a modded xbox. Must be the reason why they didn't know anything about the problem.

Thats why I think that I should make the game ixtreme compatible to make it work on my modded xbox (I read that somewhere too...) But to make the game ixtreme compatible, the ripped iso got to have "random padding" And that's where I get stuck.

So at this point (or you guys must have a other solution smile.gif ) I think I just need to know a way, with whatever program there is, to make a good iso of the original game..

Well why don't you reflash your drive with the original firmware then try to see if the game works.

does the original game work?

I play a couple of Xbox1 games on the 360 here and then, but they are all originals and work fine.

Thx for all the replies. Didnt see the topic had 2 pages already (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Ontopic: When I try to play Halo1 it works just fine, but when I insert the original Mashed I get this error: X: 5829.0 B: 1884.0
(Yes, I downloaded the update from xboxlive..)

I checked on the internet and found out that that error only occurs when you have a modded xbox360. That's why I came up with the idea of ripping the game, and making it Ixtreme compatible.

It's a good idea to test the game if it will work anyway. I don't want to "reflash" my xbox in the first place, because I also play other games on xbox live and I don't want a ban... But I can check it on a xbox of a friend of mine.

I also found this:

"**The lastest iXtreme FW will not allow you to rip (extract) games with any software (XBCreator, schtrom, IsoBuster...). You will need to reflash xtreme800 or acquire a Sh-D162C(ide)/SH-D163A(sata) for your PC in order to backup games.

Using Wxripper and a hitachi drive: Not recommended anymore. It seems the SS extracted with Hitachi drive should not be used because easier to detect. For those who want to prepare for the day the Hitachi FW supports media stealth, you should till extract your backups with a Samsung**/Kreon Drive using XBCreator/Schtrom. You would then be able to do a "Complete backup" so no point in extracting separate pieces and merging."

I got a  Sh-D162B drive. Does that mean I won't be able to make a Ixtreme backup at all? If backing up the game to ixtreme compatibilty is a solution anyway...  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

You don't get it. Mashed is not compatible with the Xbox 360. It has nothing to do with your firmware, the game just doesn't work. http://www.xbox.com/...tygameslist.htm - it's not on the list, making a backup will make no difference, other than you will have wasted more time, and money. That error *does not* only occur on modded 360s, if it did, it would pretty much be an instant signal for a ban.

As I replied before, it IS backwards compatible and it IS on the list. Look for drive to survive and you'll see.
If you google for X: 5829.0 B: 1884.0 all resultst that you'll find are related to burned copies, or modded xboxes.. Most people say, you have to burn it on a DL and it's got to be ixtreme...

just an example: **REMOVED**

MOST of the people in the thread you linked admit to DL the game. Don't link to those type of sites.

Like I said though, only the US version of "Drive to Survive" will work. If the game is called "Mashed: Drive to Survive", it is not on the list. How about this - you google that error, and see that it doesn't only happen to modded consoles. It happens to a lot of people with dirty discs, scratched discs, discs that they have not downloaded the latest BC updates for, or discs that simply are not on the BC list.

if your are 100% sure that it will work and it is your firmware, try it on a stock console or re-flash your drive to stock, then try it.

I'm using the same Google - though I do believe that Google uses your location in their searches to find more information that may be relevant to you. The BC list is region specific...unfortunately for a lot of people, that region happens to be NTSC-U.
