Abgx Fails Stealth Check On Halo Wars
« on: March 08, 2009, 03:13:00 PM »

I recently burned my own copy of Halo Wars off of my original copy(not downloaded). I used Xbox Backup Creator 2.8.0.275 with my Kreon Drive. Well I tried verifying it with ABGX and it says Video partition does not match known data (should have matched second wave) stealth check failed! Why would it fail with my own backup? I never had a problem with any other game. I checked it today so the newest files should be on abgx. I also have the newest release of abgx (released today or yesterday)

I have played it in my xbox 360 already and usually with iXtreme 1.5, games would not play if not properly stealthed. Should I be worried about getting banned? I never played online with the burned copy but I was connected to live when I played it. I was system linked to beat game on co op.

Have you tried ripping other retail games with the same method you used to rip Halo Wars? It might be just me but I always thought abgx was a little fishy..

Yeah all the games that I did rip from my retails were done the same way. I just checked Quantum of Solace and noticed the exact same problem. ABGX will patch it to work there way as well but I read a moderators post on downloadable databases like abgx and they said how do you know THERE copy is better than the one you KNOW you made yourself. I also heard from other people that ABGX is mainly used for people who download games and need to make sure they are stealthed(which I did once only because my original was already scratched) . I will continue using this copy and I guess I will find out if I am banned or not. I always figured too that as long as I do them myself I should not have to worry.

i've had the same problem when i tried to back up MLB2k9, abgx didnt fix the iso.  dont mean to hijack, but if we have the orginal and rip it ourself, why do we need agbx?
