Hello. I'm thinking of purchasing one of those pre-flashed samsung ide drives but the problem is: I don't have an available desktop to install it in. Only my laptop is used for "game stuff" So i was wondering if i bought an external enclosure off ebay for the drive, will i be able to backup games say with xbgc via usb or can this only work when attached to an ide cable or sata to the motherboard?
