Hi, my problem is that newer Xbox 360 games (like Skate 2, F.E.A.R. 2 and 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand) will not read on my Samsung MS28. They will load in the drive, on the Dashboard it says "Reading" for about 10-15 seconds, and you can hear the disc spinning, trying to read, then it says "Open Tray" (button to open the xbox dvd tray). Older 360 games (like Gears of War 2 and Assassin's Creed) will work, they just load like normal and i can play them. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like a media problem, I know memorex have trouble in samsung drives,

try verbatim made in singapore

I use these RICOHJPN discs (https://www.blankmedia.ca/proddetail3.asp?id=1328), which are 2nd best under Verbatim's, dont think its a media issue...

Well tried new things, took the laser out of the OLD drive and swapped it into the NEW drive, and it worked, so im guessing the NEW drive (the laser in it) the company sent me was broken. Going to speak with the website to see if i can get a new replacement drive shipped to me...
