Benq & Samsung Burner
« on: February 20, 2009, 12:45:00 PM »

I know these aren't the preferred burners for the 360 games.

However both have failed to burn properly on the sam branded disc.

Before I waste another 22.00 on disc maybe someone knows why neither burners complete disc?

Both dvd drives fail at writing the LEADIN & Leadout

During the burn if you are getting “Session Fixation Errors”, “Optimum Power Calibration failures”, or “Invalid Write Address failures”, they are usually due to low quality media or a defective burner if you were using adequate media (look at this post).

I want to belive it's the media but maybe it could be both my burners, anyone with an idea, let me know.

I turned off WOPC it's actually burning now. I'll confirm if the 360 loads the backup.

Had this same errors using imgburn then i switched to XBC program and have not had a problem since! I would suggest using that program instead of imgburn. I've burnt 5 dvds total 4 were Verbatims and 1 with the memorex and both work great! I burn the verbatims at 4x and burnt the Memorex at 6x since it was cheap.. They both work great...

I believe it is now working on at least one of my computers.

The computer with the TS-H652L DVD burner was failing at leadin/out after coutless firmware updates/downgrades I found the perfect one.

Firmware update SC01 is working correctly and I was able to burn a game that shall not be named. However I have only used the XBC software to burn the dvd, IMGBURN said it finalized but the game would not boot.

Could be the game though.

Surprisingly 5 of the 15 disc are still allowing me to burn to them again, but the other 10 are coasters.

As for the other computer with burner BenQ, it is still not working and I've given up.

I think I know what game you are talking about. If it is the game that I'm thinking of then it probably is the .iso because... well never mind but just wait a couple more days and buy it lol. Plus it's most likely a release by Major Nelson.
