I know the iso size is around 7.xxGB before burning it.  But is it normal for the dvd to show only 3.51MB of info after the burn?  The burn marks are all the way out to the edges of the dvd so it looks like it was a large file burn, but on the dvd there is only a video ts and audio ts folder and they only have 3.51 mb of info on them.  Is this a proper burn?

Also how can you find out the name of the game burnt on a dvd, with out obviously playing it in an xbox.

if you right clic in windows  then yes.
if you want to check your burn in order to see if everything is there, put it is XBC and do a stealth check using the Drive Tools tab, or a full validate of the burn against the image in How to verify a burn

1: to rip a game, you need either a special PC-DVDROM drive flashed with kreon FW (AKA kreon drive) (sp?) or use your 360's drive flashed with the 0800 fw to read the games. The info is on these boards so dont bother PM'ing me on how to do this.

2: to play backup games (from the disks you own) you have to have the fw flashed on the 360's dvd-rom drive in order for it to read them properly. Just like above, the info is all here on these forums, search for it.

3: From my experiences, XBC 2.8 and imgburn (latest as of this writing) work just fine in win7 (using 64bit verson here, and assuming that you run them with admin privliges). Granted each users mileage may vary. Please keep in mind tho, I have yet to update my benq drive to the latest fw (still running 1.41) so their *might* be issues with how it works with the new 1.51+ fw's.

I had a kreon drive ts-h353b flashed to kreon 1.00 firmware. My sata chipset didn't support it and I am too lazy to get a card for it.

Instead I used the samsung ts-h943 drive with the xtreme 0800 firmware. It's great for backing up my 360 games. However, xbox 1 games are not working at all. It freezes/stops at 5.46% on every one and gives me the can not open partition error.

I tried tweaking the settings(drive specific, xbox1), but each time it's a no go. Any recommendations or tips?

Someone help me out?

I put the disc in my benq 0800 flashed drive, window sees it, and xbc doesn't.

When I put the game (this is an original disc) into my regular drive, xbc can see it, but it will not let me rip because it only sees the video part, as 3.52MB or w./e.

What do I do to get XBC to recognize my drive? P.S. I currently have 5 cd drives recognized by my system, 3 read in xbc.

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with ripping my xbox360games. I have a SH-D163D with Kreon V1.0 and it has worked some time ago. I used XBC und ripping was no problem at all.

I just tried to rip a new game and it XBC started to tip (128kb file was on my HDD) and then it stopped by doing nothing at all. No error message, nothing, just 0% and not i byte more.

What could that be? Anydvd is not running while I'm ripping.

Does someone has an idea?

Does the SH Drive have to be Master or Slave?

Thx

I have a question about the size of the images:

QUOTE
5-When completed, you will get a 7 651 848KB ISO ( or 7.29GB) or 7,651,262KB depending on the x360 games. If you do not activate the Splitvid then the files will be 7,395,392KB or 7.05GB. The .iso for Xbox1 will be 7,258,816KB (or 6.92GB) without splitvid.

It's been a while since I used XBC (early this year).  My drive is the SH-D162C with 1.0 kreon firmware. I did update XBC to v2.9 build 0306 yesterday, although I did not update the drive firmware since it already was at 1.0.

The last game I did rip is Ninja Gaiden 2 (I think that was done with XBC 2.7). It came out as 7.05 GB/7,395,392KB which matches one of the sizes above.

The games I just ripped, Madden 2010 and NCAA 2010 (from originals) come out with  different sizes. they are both 7.29 GB/7,654,876KB, which is a little off from the above noted size.

Do newer games have different sizes or is this not normal??
