Xbox Backup Creator Problems

Having problems with my Kreon drive, doesn't seem to want to work with XBC. Here is a screenshot of the main window:

maybe get the latest version (2.8.x) of xbc and see if that helps?

Exactly the same thing is happening. New version hasn't helped.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Run me through the steps you used to flash the drive.  It looks like the drive might not be flashed correctly and thus isn't being recognised

It was a preflashed one I bought off ebay.

Aaahhh, looks like the dude might not have done it quite right.  Goolge a Kreon Drive Tutorial.  Only takes 5 minutes max to flash the drive again and theres no harm in it.  See if that works

Ok, found a tutorial, used this:

I've got the same problem, however i cant even flash it again, it just says flash cmd fail!
