My Computer Wont Read Second Layer Of Dvd+dl Disk

I followed the textbook guide exactly with imgburn i bisetted the drive and everything. The drive i burned the disk with was a LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-832S flashed as a LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-832S vVS0M since they are the same thing just mines hp brand and it excluded some features. I burned a copy of my own Gears of war 2 that i ripped using my samsung-toshiba drive with xtrm0800.bin.

Any way i had imgburn verify my image after burning and it failed once it got to the second layer. Then i tried stealth checking my dvd with mulleter and abgx they both failed aonce they got to the second layer when checking the game data crc.

Can any one tell me what the problem is because it appears img burn burned the whole image but it couldnt read the second layer after it wrote the data??? I cant test this with my xbox right now because it is still flashed with the xtrm0800 firmware

does anyone know what is happening... I tried burning again with xbc and the same thing happened

does the disc work in the 360?  if so i would not sweat it, it's probably normal, pc drives cannot properly read 360 games without custom firmware, either way, the fact that the pc wont read the burned image doesnt really matter does it?  cant do anything with it on a pc anyways

okay i will flash my drive to ixtreme 1.4 tommorow hopefully so i can test it.If they dont work i think the problem is my dvd burner and i might get a new one

i just flashed to ix1.4 none of my backups work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

i know my drive is working because it plays origionals and one of my backups of gears of war 2 boots to  the menu screen then it says dirty disk error

it's because your backups aren't stealth-patched, so you can rip, patch and burn them again, or flash your 360 with non-stealth ixtreme.

no they are all stealth patched i ripped them and checked them with abgx there was just errors when burning... im pretty sure somethings wrong with my burner... im goin to get a new one
