Some drives are more sensitive with the discs that they will read. It is possible that the benq doesn't like the dvd's you used to burn the games on even though they work on the other console. For example, I had a game burned on some crappy ritek DVD-DL's which wouldn't play on my console but would on my friends, so now I use verbatims.
