I just ripped my Gears of War 2 and End War using my samsung 360 drive.

When I checked them against abgx360's database, my End War had one bad angle. I realize this isnt a problem anymore with iXtreme 1.4 but why am I getting a bad angle on a samsung 360 drive? I thought only kreon gave bad angles?

2nd my gears 2 disc gave me an unverified DMI against the database. Why would this be? The disc is a purchased retail disc that I bought about 5 days ago... NTSC usa....

Should I fix these errors or leave them as they were ripped? And has any1 else had similar issues with these discs? Or could ABGX360 simply be wrong for my region?

btw these were both ripped with Xbox Backup Creator 2.7.0.265...

If you count on playing those games on Live, I suppose you get them fixed. You need a good DMI and SS to NOT get banned.

Well I ripped it from my retail disc, thats what bothers me. So would I actually be "fixing" it? Also the dmi isnt missing, it is stateing it as "unverified".

So i am at a lost with what to do, but I think i will be keeping them how the disc was ripped...

Is it possible that ABGX's database is wrong? How is the database maintained?

I ran my retail rip thru abgx and the DMI is unverified like yours.
I figured since its a retail rip to leave it as it is and not fix it.

What i think is that there is no real retail usa rip in the abgx360's database
for it to verify.

ok that was the information i really needed to hear. I went ahead anyways with the burn and so far I am fine... I went with my instincts like you did and left the iso without repairing it. I am suspecting that alot of these bans recently have been due to the wrong info being in some of these databases....

I will update ya if my status changes, but so far so good. BTW that is the only disc I have that has not verified so far and all mine are NTSC, USA.

agbx and mulleter are for people who pirate games from the internet. If you are using XBC to create your backups from a retail disk, you should not need to use agbx or mulleter.

BAM! this is the info I needed to hear, I also posted a thread about this becuase my gta backup was doing the same, dmi unverified? i was like wtf...

But now i can be sure its ok because I ripped it MYSELF

Ditto here for me on my Halo 3 disc. I wish there was a technical explanation why my "DMI is unverified" but everyting else checks out in ABGX. Guess I just have to have faith in my Kreon drive as all the other ABGX checks say I'm o.k.

COD4 and GTA4 for me weren't even found in the ABGX database so I didn't get a thorough check. I hear rumors that perhaps there are different builds of the game but I am still reading around the 'net to see if I have something else wrong.

I had exactly the same problem with my PAL retail GOW2 (not being found in the database), and last inght I backed up my Fracture disk, and got problem with Challenge 9D returning a Bad Angle, therefore Stealth Check overall fails on ABGX360. I burnt the disk without letting ABGX360 "fix" the ISO, but Im not so sure I did the right thing now.

I too am looking for a technical explaination on why DMI is always failing.
I just got my first kreon drive SH-D163A with Kreon 1.0
I only have two orignals Rock Band and COD4 and both pass everything except DMI.
The copies work perfect of course but I just can't help but thinking something is not right.

I saved the DMI from my rip of COD4 then i let mulleter "fix" the DMI and opened them both up in a hex editor.

Everything was identical up until line 630

I am wondering if my dmi would be any differnt if i flashed the 800bin to a real 360 drive (TS-H943 ms28) and made a rip. ? Anyone tried that?

On a side note. Is that picture of the guy with the mullet the actual programmer of mulleter or just some random picture ? LOL it makes me laugh everytime i use the program.
