Ok First off I am not a noob.   I have been ripping my originals for over a year all without a problem.  this week I noticed that when I put my new copy of SC IV XBC showed media type not present.  In My Computer it does not recognize the Xbox came either.

I have ensured that my the d162c is the master.
I have also made sure that DMA is enabled
I do not have any programs that create virtual drives that could cause this either.
I have pulled out the drive and installed it into my xp machine with the same error.
"Thats what makes me think it is the drive itself"

I have searched the net and I have tried everything. and this is driving me nuts

When I put the original in I do not even get the option to unlock the drive in XBC.


any help would be greatly appreciated.


I am totally at a loss.
