Verbatim Recently Purchased (hit And Miss?)
« on: May 28, 2008, 11:13:00 PM »

well I just recently purchased some and it seems to be hit and miss.
but then again it could be imageburn thats causing problem...

anyway i just want to know if anyone is having similar problem with verbatim mk001 (i burn at 2.4x) and have burnt over 300...

ps could be my pioneer burner getting old too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) but just want to eliminate disc factor.

I'm finding the more recent mkm001 burn far better at higher than 2.4x speed (4x works best for me, though I tried 6x and 8x as well with my pio 212d.)

When I had my 212D I also found the MKM001 burned better at 4x.  I haven't tried 2.4x with my 215D, but at 4x, the burns were better quality (slightly) than with my 212D; I use my BenQ DW1640 to scan the burns.
