Using Laptop Dvd Drive.
« on: May 28, 2008, 07:53:00 PM »

Has anyone tried the laptop dvd drive method?
It seems the most hardest thing using a regular dvd is that you can't eject it while the disc is in it.
I noticed that laptop dvd drive can have the top plate removed easily and the whole disc spins on a spindle.

I got Kreon drive so I don't need this method of doing it, but I saw lot of posts people trying to get a DVD rom that you can take it apart so that the switch can be made more easy.  Just get any laptop DVD with an IDE adapter and you should be good to go.
