Sh-d163b With Sata To Usb Converter?

I cant get my SH-D163B Kreon drive to get past the "this is not a true 1 to 1 copy" on XBC. I am using a SH-d163b dvd drifve with the kreon firmware and a SATA to USB converter by Xecuters. I also tried plugging the drive into my RAID VIA 6421 sata card. Any comments or ideas as to why i cant make backups of my original games!? I cant get past that one screen. I also tried it on Schtrom360Xtract and get the message "Only xbox extraction is supported on this drive". Any ideas?
